Owen Care and Support Services is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide domiciliary care to enable all adults to live independently and remain in their own homes for as long as they are able to do so. Our Service is available to the elderly; anyone who maybe housebound due to frailty, or as a result of an illness or hospitalisation; adults with health problems such as Dementia, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s; Adults with learning or physical disabilities; and for family carers in need of some relief.

The company is a private company. Our services are available seven days weekly. Our office is normally staffed between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm weekdays.

Complaints indicate a shortcoming in the service we provide; they give us an indication where we need to improve our quality of care.
All service users and their families will be given the information needed to enable them to complain or give us feedback on our service. They need do this in writing, by telephone or in person. We understand if they may not want to be identified, especially if they are complaining on some one else’s behalf.
All complaints must be recorded and investigated, taking statements from all concerned. Following the investigation a written report should be made, appropriate action taken and a letter of response sent to the complainant if known.
